Everest High Pass TrekThe Everest region is popularly known in the world for its glorious and highest mountain Mount Everest. The Sherpa dominated region has many things to offer to the tourists. One has to either fly to Lukla or drive to Jiri and then trek to Lukla. This trek takes us through the three beautiful Himalayan valleys: Gokyo, Khumbu, Imja Tse, Gokyo Ri, Chola Pass, Everest Base Camp, Kalapathar, etc. No doubt, one can fulfill his/her dream of trekking and climbing to the highest place on earth in this trek. Besides, the trek provides thrill of adventure and widens their experience towards the peak climbing expedition beyond trekking in Nepal. One can have the stunning view of the mountains like- Lhotse, Nuptse, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Makalu.

 

This region is famous not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain but also for its Sherpa villages and monasteries with their virtually unchanged unique culture. Solu has received countless trekkers and mountaineers from all over the world. Solukhumbu has developed to a stage where many options are possible from a full-scale expedition with tents and porters to an independent trek using the local lodges. Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976, covers much of this region. This fascinating land surrounded by high mountains is a real paradise for mountaineers & trekkers. One can fly to Lukla from Kathmandu or get bus to Jiri to get there. Trek from Jiri to Lukla is a classic trek and best way to acclimatize as well. Gokyo and the Everest Base Camp are the two trekking routes where many people like to go.

Itineray Details

Day 01. Kathmandu-Lukla- Phakding (2600m).

Day 02. Phakding- Namche (3440).

Day 03. Rest day (Hike around Khumung village).

Day 04. Namche-Tyangboche (3860m.)

Day 05. Tyangboche-Dengboche (4320m).

Day 06. Rest day at Dengboche.

Day 07. Dengboche- Chhukung (4700m).

Day 08. Chukkung- Khongma La Base Camp (5100m).

Day 09. Khangma La Base Camp-Khangma La Pass (5535m.) to Lobuche (4930m).

Day 10. Lobuche-Gorekshep (5170m)

Day 11. Gorekshep-trek to Kalapather (5545m) and Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep

Day 12. Gorakshep trek to Dzongla (4900m).

Day 13. Dzongla-Chola Pass (5420m)-Dragnak (4700m)

Day 14. Dragnak-Gokyo (4700m).

Day 15. Rest day

Day 16. Gokyo- Arye (4300m) and then to Renzo La Pass (5338m).

Day 17. Arye- Thame (3800m)

Day 18. Thame- Lukla (2800m)

Day 19. Lukla – Kathmandu.

 

NOTE:Itinerary can be customized according to the clients budget, time and comfort. Departure schedule can be changed on any unavoidable conditions like weather hazards, trail slides, and avalanches.
