Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Cho la Pass trek is one of the outstanding treks of Everest region. This trek offers an alternative to the traditional trek to Everest Base Camp. We pass through the Sherpa villages- Namche Bazaar and Khumjung to the Gokyo Valley and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in Nepal Himalaya. From Gokyo Ri, one can have a glance of the peaks above 48000m. such as Cho Oyu , Everest, Lhotse and Makalu. Descending to Phortse, make a high traverse to the village of Pangboche and climb on towards Everest Base Camp. The return route leads through Dingboche and Tengpoche before descending the Khumbu Valley to Lukla. There are many options for additional exploration and high altitude walking including the crossing of Cho La a 5420m high Pass into Khumbu. Gokyo is located in the valley immediately west of the Everest (Khumbu) valley and is far less developed and crowed than its better-known neighbor to the east. In fact, the Gokyo Valley is the only traditional permanent settlement of this area.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
Day 02: Flight to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2800m)
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 04: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Day 05: Namche to Thame Village (3800m) 6hrs.
Day 06: Thame to Khumjung (3850m) 6 1/2hrs.
Day 07: Khumjung to Dhole (4040m) 7 hrs.
