Everest Base Camp Trek through Jiri

Guarded by some of the highest and most beautiful mountains of the world, this homeland of the Sherpa people migrated from Tibet in the 14th and early 15th century. An incomparable blend of ancient's monasteries, former important trading post, serene village, rushing rivers and sequences of the most spectacular panoramas are only a handful out of this amazing region.
We drive up to Jiri from Kathmandu to start trekking. Within our trekking periods we follow several villages, terraces, dense forests. The area also offers large mammals commonly seen in the park are the Himalayan thar and musk deer. Somewhat less common are the Himalayan black bear, common languor, jackal, weasel and the Himalayan mouse hare and a lush habitat for over 118 species of birds in forest. In Everest area, you should allow between 5 days to 28 days to trek. The elevation of the trails rises from 1955 m. to 5550 m. above sea level.

Itineray Details

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel B & B Service.

Day 2: Free day in Kathmanduinclude: Hotel B & B Service,

Day 3: Kathmandu to Jiri (1955m) 5 hours drive by bus 149 km.

Day 4: After breakfast Start trek to Deurali (2735m) 5 hours.

Day 5: Deurali to Sete (2645m) 5 hours.

Day 6: Sete to Junbensi (2640m) 5 hours.

Day 7: Junbesi to Nunthala (2440m) 5 hours.

Day 8: Nunthala to Kharikhola (2020m) 5 ½ hours:

Day 9: Kharikhola to Pyau (2700m) 6 hours.

Day 10: Pyau to Phakding (2640m) 5 ½ hours.

Day 11: Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 5 hours.

Day 13: Namche Bazzar to Tengbuche (3850m) 5 hours.

Day 14: Tengbuche to Dingbuche (4350m) 5 ½ hours

Day 15: Dingbuche to Lobuche (4930m) 5 ½ hours.

Day 16: Lobuche to Gorekshep (5154m) and climb to Kalapatar (5545m) and back to Gorekshep 5 hours

Day 17: Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp (5350m) then back to Gorekshep 5 hours.

Day 18: Gorekshep to Pangboche (3960m) 6 hours.

Day 19: Pangboche to Namchhe 5hours

Day 20: Namchhe to Lukla 7hours

Day 21: Lukla to fly back to Kathmandu (35 minutes)

Day 22: Final departure to your country home.

 

NOTE:Itinerary can be customized according to the clients budget, time and comfort. Departure schedule can be changed on any unavoidable conditions like weather hazards, trail slides, and avalanches.
